  • This month at FL1

    1st September 2009 in General, fl1

So what’s been happening at FL1 this past month?
The answer is… quite a lot!

Apart from holidays, cups of tea and the usual banter, we’ve been rummaging under the hood of Microsoft’s new search offering Bing, building mobile apps for the iPhone (more on that soon) and ramping up the Microsoft .NET development side of things.
We’re starting to get some great testimonials from people who we’ve helped get started with blogging and tweeting, which is fantastic, and always encouraging.

Our big announcement this month is not only that Niall got back from Scotland in one piece, but that we’re launching a new company, FL1 Software.

FL1 Software focuses on bespoke software development headed up by Jason Sammon.
We’ve always had a great deal of expertise in the programming of Windows, Web and mobile software systems that are database driven, so it seemed natural to focus more on this area of the business along side with the web.

FL1 Group remains focused on web design and marketing and is now headed up by Garth McCaughan, Jason Sammon’s successor.

    So what will change?
We’ll still be committed to offering the best and most impartial advice, customer service, creativity and technical solutions.
We’ve got big plans to develop both sides of the business, and most importantly, to help develop yours too!
